Dr. James Mace, a local general dentist, will speak at the American Academy of Periodontology’s annual meeting. The meeting will be held at the Gaylord Palms Hotel in Orlando, Florida from November 14th through the 17th. Dr. Mace will be speaking to meeting attendees about biomaterials, laboratory considerations and clinical approaches to providing patients with fixed/non-removable teeth for an entire arch to be supported by dental implants.
The lecture addresses patients that are either missing all of their teeth in an arch or are soon to be, and is an overview of how to provide patients with implant-supported, non-removable teeth instead of a traditional denture. Dr. Mace will be speaking with Dr. George Duello, a St. Louis periodontist, who will be speaking on the surgical considerations for these types of cases.
Dr. Mace has been practicing in Washington for over 15 years and has a practice focused on adult restorative dentistry.
